Internal quality assurance unit (IQAU)

Internal quality assurance is a legal obligation of higher education institutions while being responsible for drafting policies and procedures for quality assurance. This system is established by higher education institutions and operates through the internal quality assurance unit. The structure and functions of this unit are defined in the Statute of Higher Education Institutions.

The IQAU drafts standards for quality assurance in accordance with the Quality Code. The Unit conducts periodic evaluations of teaching and scientific research activities. The integral task of this unit is also organizing of the student questionnaire at the end of each semester, on the quality of teaching of the subjects of each program offered by the HEI.
