On 28.04.2023, ASCAL participated in the workshop on automatic recognition of qualifications, organized as part of the activities envisaged by TPG-B of BFUG. Representatives of higher education institutions and interested parties involved in recognition processes participated in this seminar.

In the first part of the seminar, the results of the questionnaire carried out on the perception of higher education institutions regarding automatic recognition were reflected, as well as the addressing of this issue was discussed, closely related to the Monitoring Report on the implementation of the Recognition Convention of Lisbon of 2022, the Council Recommendation on the promotion of automatic mutual recognition of 2018 and the Report on its implementation of 2023.

The second part of the workshop took a hands-on approach, introducing different models of automatic recognition and tools available to support its implementation. Also, topics on information security and digitization as general solutions to support automatic recognition were presented. The last part of the workshop gave space to the discussion among the participants on automatic recognition.
