On April 24–25, 2025, Mr. Muhamed Prezja, Specialist in the Sector for Promotion and Quality Assessment at ASCAL, participated in the workshop organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), in collaboration with the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE), on the topic "Strengthening Quality Assurance Agencies in the Western Balkans: Tools, Compliance, and Readiness for ENQA," held in Zagreb, Croatia.

During this workshop, ASCAL presented its organization, activities, and work plan aimed at achieving full membership in the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

ASHE, as a full member of ENQA, presented the organization and functioning of its agency, intending to enable the six Western Balkan countries (WB6) to adopt best practices that could serve as a foundation for their future work. ASHE will continue to assist until the WB6 countries meet the necessary conditions to join ENQA.
