The Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education (ASCAL) participated in the International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, organized by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (AKA) on September 26th, 2023, in Pristina, with the aim to discuss the impact of quality assurance mechanisms on establishing a quality culture. The conference was attended by leaders of state institutions, representatives from important European institutions, representatives from higher education institutions, the academic community, students, diplomatic representatives, representatives from civil society, etc.
The panelists in the conference discussed topics related to Kosovo's national quality assurance system, the steps taken by AKA to implement European Standards and Guidelines, the importance of international higher education quality assurance structures, similar experiences from other agencies in the region and beyond in building a culture of quality, etc.
