On December 6 and 7, 2023, the 2nd Francophone Forum on Quality in Higher Education in Central and Eastern Europe (FFQ-ECO) was organized, with the theme "University governance and quality assurance: impact and challenges towards a more good of young people". The main objective of this activity was to promote new approaches, developments, innovations, and trends at the Francophone and global level regarding university governance and quality assurance for better youth employment.

Dr. was also invited to this meeting. Xhiliola Bixheku, General Director of ASCAL, presented a complete overview of the quality assurance system in Albania and the challenges of this system. The participants in this forum were from the University of Tirana, public and private higher education institutions in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, international and regional organizations active in higher education, the University Agency of Francophonie (AUF), UNESCO, representatives of the agencies of quality assurance from Central and Eastern European countries, etc.

This forum served as a platform for discussion, professional development, and exchange of experiences among key stakeholders working to ensure the quality of higher education institutions in AUF member countries of Central and Eastern Europe and beyond.
