The Director of ASCAL, Dr. Xhiliola Bixheku, and the Head of the Sector for Relations with the Accreditation Board and Internationalization, Mr. Erion Xhako, participated in the first meeting of Thematic Group C on Quality Assurance within the framework of the 2024-2027 work program of BFUG, held from November 27-29 in Ghent, Belgium.

In this meeting, several topics were discussed, including the BFUG work program for the period 2024-2027, the role of quality assurance agencies in promoting and enhancing academic integrity and ensuring learning, the conclusions of focus groups on the quality assurance of European University Alliances organized within the IMINQA project, the Tirana Ministerial Communiqué: the review of ESGs, micro-credentials in higher education, and more.

Additionally, an important part of the meeting was dedicated to each agency's presentation of future objectives, as well as the discussion of good practices and each country's work in achieving the set goals.
