From April 9–11, 2025, ASCAL, represented by Ms. Aviola Bardhi, Specialist in the Statistics and Analysis Sector, Ms. Rajna Lila, and Mr. Muhamed Prezja, Specialists in the Promotion and Quality Evaluation Sector, participated in the ENQA Members’ Forum 2025, which took place in Paphos, Cyprus.

This year’s forum focused on the theme “Sustainability in Quality Assurance”, where quality assurance agencies promoted sustainability dimensions both through their practices and by aligning with broader sustainability goals of higher education institutions.

During the meetings, discussions revolved around the sustainability of higher education, with a focus on how institutions enhance sustainability in both education and research.

The sustainability of agencies through their human resources was also a key topic. Participants explored case examples and initiatives undertaken by agencies to provide professional development and create attractive working environments for their staff, as well as the ongoing engagement of students and the various ways in which they are involved in quality assurance.
