On April 19, 2019, the official meeting of the National Student Survey was held. In this meeting were present the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama; Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth Besa Shahini and ASCAL Director Mr. Elvin Gjevori. The meeting was attended by students and representatives of public institutions of higher education.
In its address, the Minister stated that: "The survey contains about 100 questions and focuses on the quality of teaching, student experience, infrastructure, research, communication of lecturers with students and whether students really feel they are receiving a qualitative education. It is very important that the questionnaires are filled out by as many students as possible in order to obtain more accurate results and the final report to be completed at the end of the survey will be made available to the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, which will help policy-makers on problem-solving, Higher Education Institutions, students and the interested public.”
During the meeting, questions were asked from students who received answers from the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education.
The National Student Survey will remain open from April 16 until May 2, 2019. During this time, any student in Albania can complete the online survey for about 20 minutes via the link in their e-mail sent by ASCAL.
The National Student Survey is the ideal opportunity to empower the student voice and convey it to the decision-making bodies of Higher Education Institutions and beyond.
